Ursula Long - General Manager
Hi, my name is Ursula.
I have an NVQ3 in childcare, Level 3 in management, first aid trained and over 30 years experience working in childcare.
My hobbies are photography, making sugar flowers and cakes for special occasions and growing flowers. I also have my own allotment where I grow lots of different fruit and vegetables.
I love spending time with my family, all four generations together making lots of special memories.
Karen Baker - Deputy Manager & SENCo Lead
Hello! My name is Karen.
I am the Deputy Manager and Lead SENCo at Moore Hall Playschool.
I have been working in childcare for over 20 years and I am qualified to level 3 in early years care and education. I have also achieved level 4 in early years practice through the Open University. I have completed the SENCo induction course and attended child behaviour, Thomas training and language group training to support me in my current role here. I am a qualified first aider and have completed safeguarding training to level 4.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, making memories. I also enjoy reading, meeting friends and going for walks.
Melissa Hickman - Deputy SENCo & Key Person
Hello! My name is Melissa.
I have a Level 3 Diploma in working with children and young people. Trained Level 3 Safeguarding, Level 2 Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid trained also. I have worked at the hall since October 2020 as a Keyperson and I have recently been successful in securing the role of Deputy SENCO - supporting Karen. I am a Mum of two children and a dog! I love days out with my children, taking the dog for walks and socialising with my friends.
Charmaine Sampson - Keyperson
Hello! I'm Charmaine!
I have a Level 3 Childcare Diploma. Level 3 Safeguarding and First Aid Trained. I have completed the Five to Thrive and further studied Math and English. I love working with children and have a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
I am a fun outgoing sociable person who loves to travel and wants to see the world! Most importantly I love being a Mum and love my family and friends!
Leanne Bilgic - Key person
Hello! I'm Leanne. I have been on the team since January 2020.
I have a Level 3 Diploma as an early years educator. I am Safeguarding trained to level 3 and paediatric first aid trained. I have also completed food hygiene level 2 and additional learning around Autism and Specific learning difficulties.
I am a key person at Moore Hall and am currently looking at ways to support and improve our children's mental health and wellbeing inside and outside the setting.
At home, I am a wife and a mum of two. In-between caring for my family and pets I enjoy reading, singing/dancing (poorly), LOVE music and spending as much time as I can by the sea!
Marion Boare - Key Person & Admissions Officer
I'm Marion!
I'm a key person and manage admissions for the playschool.
I have been involved at Moore Hall since 2014 and started to work here in September 2018.
I am Level 3 trained as an Early Years Educator.
I am also a involved in Girl Guides which has allowed me to gain a leadership qualification as well as others including Paediatric and Adult first aid, food hygiene, C&G Hotel and Hospitality and NVQ 2&3 catering.
I have two young children. When not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, going to the theatre and concerts.

Jade Atkinson - Key Person
Hi, I'm Jade! I love my role at Moorehall and think we have a fantastic team here. I love that the children are centre of all we do and particularly enjoy small group activities. I am Mum to a beautiful daughter and fur baby Frenchie. I love the gym and going for walks with my family! (Funfact - I am a twin!)
